Corporate management certifications

Since 2013 Alba has been UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certified, an international standard related to Quality Management, for production activities related to design, development, and manufacturing.
From raw material to finished product, everything that enters and leaves the plant is quality controlled to ensure maximum performance for the end customer. In addition, management and organization follow procedures shared with the company's various departments, and information flows are managed and coordinated, helping to strengthen relationships among people and thus improving the quality of work.

Since 2022, the company has also obtained UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 certification, recognized internationally as the gold standard for Environmental Management Systems. The certification leads the company to adjust to higher standards for proper waste disposal, adopting company procedures aimed at the proper disposal of all types of waste, not only in the production area, but in every business environment. The commitment also extends beyond the company, reaching across the entire supply chain to the value chain.

Certifications related to corporate management are of great importance for a company like Alba, as they attest to the company's desire to always work according to the highest quality standards, with the utmost attention to product safety and the environmental impact of processes.

Product Certifications

The two product certifications that are adopted for the collections created by Alba are UNI EN 16139:2013 certification and ANSI-BIFMA certification. Alba's attainment of these certifications is essential to provide certain indicators of reliability and conformity of the products, which, from the earliest stages, are designed taking into consideration the standards to be met and the tests to be passed.

The UNI EN 16139:2013 certification is for the European market and ensures that the product meets certain requirements for safety, strength and durability of furniture intended for non-domestic use.

ANSI-BIFMA certification represents the main reference standard for Anglo-Saxon markets. Obtaining ANSI-BIFMA certification for a selection of Alba products is therefore synonymous with the internationality of a company that makes overseas its main market.

Patents

Further confirmation of Alba's commitment to the development and design of innovative, high-quality products is evidenced in the obtaining of a number of patents for new and innovative technical solutions introduced in some of the most recent collections, thus giving the product a strong added value.
