Why choose a polyurethane sofa?

Polyurethane is a soft and elastic synthetic foam; it is structured in layers and consists of open micro-cells which make it flexible and breathable, essential characteristics for sofas and mattresses in order to reduce the accumulation of moisture and the proliferation of mites and bacteria.

Polyurethane is considered a green material, because it is made without the use of harmful toxins such as chlorofluorocarbons and is classed as practically non-deformable.

A polyurethane sofa is therefore extremely durable, and retains the flexibility to offer the correct support for different parts of the body; density varies, for example, between the seat, which is softer and more comfortable, and the backrest, firmer and more rigid to support the spine.

In conclusion, choosing polyurethane padding means opting for a sofa that is comfortable, robust, hygienic, non allergenic and resistant to mites, mould and fire.

Unyo, our polyurethane sofa

Unyo is a polyurethane sofa designed by our Research and Development team.
It is available in several versions:

• 2-seater sofa
• modular sectional sofa
• armchair

We chose to use polyurethane padding for all our models in order to guarantee the highest standards of comfort and support, in addition to the other advantages of polyurethane. Moreover, to ensure the safety of our sofas, we use only fire-resistant polyurethane in the class 1IM.

All polyurethane modules can be fitted with comfortable shaped cushions on request.
Both modules and cushions are supplied unfinished, i.e. without covers. Bear in mind that the polyurethane modules that make up our sofas contain no metal components, which facilitates disposal.
